She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Holt Patterson Sr.; her parents, Richard Lane Cheek and Clara Brady Cheek; and her siblings, Lucille Cox, Ethel Albright, Georgia Bray, Swanna Moffitt, Laughton Cheek, Broughton Cheek, Boyd Cheek, Jimmy Cheek and Franklin Cheek.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Sanders, Shanda Newport of Snow Camp and Jack Patterson (Shari) of Snow Camp; her grandchildren, Sarah Schrodt (Zach), Daniel Sanders, Megan Patterson, Faith Patterson and Brianna Meyers (Dylan); her great grandchild Magnolia Schrodt; and her sister Faye Dunn.
