She was predeceased by: her grandparents, William, Lois Campbell, Hoyle and Beatrice Clapp; her nephew Brooks Clemments; her niece Ashley Doby; and her close friend Jimmy Davis.
She is survived by: her parents, Stephen E. Clapp and Linda C. Clapp; and her siblings, Shannon Spaugh (Jimmy Spaugh) of Lexington, Becky Conklin (Andy Conklin) of Caswell County and Stephanie Pierce of Hillsborough. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
