He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Ivey and Ida Estelle Kimery; his daughters, Dawn Rudd and Jodi Combs; his grandson Randall Rudd; and his siblings, Roy Ivey and Pat Gaddy.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Faye Ivey; his sons, Ronnie Ivey Jr. of Graham and Craig Ivey of Snow Camp; his grandchildren, Danielle Jacobs (Ron) of Graham, Stevie Rudd of Burlington and Ethan Ivey of Graham; his great grandchildren, Ron Jacobs of Graham, Kaylee Jacobs of Graham, Hunter Jacobs of Graham, Aniyah Rudd of Burlington, Allidiya Rudd of Burlington, Amelia Rudd of Burlington and Safina Sesay of Burlington; his siblings, Linda Duggins (Donald), Ina Faye Wilson (Kenny), Robert Ivey (Connie) and James Ivey (Kaye); and his brothers-in-law, Tommy Carroll (Jo) and Tony Carroll (Linda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
