He is survived by: his wife Carlene Martin Shepard; his daughters, Angela Patterson of Snow Camp, NC and Toni Alston (Barry) of Mebane, NC; his daughter-in-law Laura Shepard of Snow Camp, NC; his siblings, Annie Mae Tyrance of Boston, MA, Betty Weaver (Harold) of Liberty, NC, Carolyn Shepard Harris (Joe) of Burlington, NC and Robert "Bob" Shepard (Eunice) of Liberty, NC; his grandchildren, Briana Richardson (Travorse), Deletta Walker (Ricky), Patrick Patterson (Charmaine), Raven Patterson, Jalen Alston (Noelle) and Barry "BJ" Alston, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Malaya, Iris, Jasmine, Nolan, Ava, Noah and Nason; and his nephew Harold "Fuzz" Weaver, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
