He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Aldeen and Dorothy Greeson Boggs; and his sister Linda Boggs Smith. He is survived by: his children, Lyndsey Hughes (Greer) and Cheney Boggs; his siblings, Sylvia Boggs Teague (Chris) and Vernon Aldeen Boggs; his grandchildren, Rowan Hughes and Harbor Hughes; and his nieces and nephews, Alicia, Jonathan, Clay, Jessica and Seth. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
