He was predeceased by: his father Porter Drake Pipes. He is survived by: his wife Lola Mae Pipes (Spotswood); his children, Linda Brim (John) of Pfafftown, Janice Taylor (Tom) of Raleigh and Jerry Pipes (Cindy) of Clemmons; his grandchildren, Lauren, Kristen, Meagan, Morgan, Madison and Travis; and his great grandchildren, Hadley and Sadie.
