It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Carol Carey (Snow Camp, North Carolina), who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clyde Pugh and Nancy Mabel Braxton Pugh; and her brother Ben Pugh. She is survived by: her children, Terry Carey of Indian Trail, NC, Irv Carey (Amy) of Seneca, MD, Joel Carey (Joyce) of California, MD, Tim Carey (Rese) and Crystal Carey (Brawner) of Arlington, VA.; her grandchildren, Brian, Jane, Nick, Leiah, Lenny, Jeff, Tim and Carly; her great grandchildren, Tanner, Garrett, Thomas, Pearl, Christopher and Anderson; and her sisters, Francis Payne of Burlington and Isabel Morrow of Hillsborough.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all are asked to wear masks and practice appropriate social distancing.
