She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlen McPherson and Beulah McPherson; her grandson Bryan McBane; and her brother James McPherson. She is survived by: her husband David Zane McBane; and her sons, Alton "Tinker" Smith of Tennessee, Randy Ellington (Christy) of Yadkinville, Wayne Scott (Amy) of New London, Mark McBane (Tina) of Snow Camp and Todd McBane (Tracy) of Elon. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
