He was predeceased by: his father Elmer. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Loy Wood; his sons, Ross and Mason Wood; his grandchildren, Addison, Smith and Isley Wood; and his siblings, Earl Wood (Diane), Blair Thompson (Myra) and Cathy O'Dell (Mike).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made the Sunday School fund at Friendship Church or to the Thomas M. Holt Masonic Lodge #492 AF&AM.
