He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Edward Parrish and Cora Lee Hensley Parrish; his son-in-law Mark E. Teer; and his siblings, Beatrice Hill, Marvin Parrish, Ernest Parrish, Jr. and Lonnie Parrish.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Cook Parrish; his daughters, Deborah P. Kiser (Sam) of Snow Camp, Barbara P. Teer of Graham and Sandra P. Blanchard (William) of Mebane; his grandchildren, Amanda T. Nelson (Matt), Matthew Teer, Savannah Blanchard and Joey Blanchard (Lauren); his stepgranddaughter Lisa K. Bradshaw (Craig); and his great grandchildren, Taylor and Madison Blanchard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
