He is survived by: his significant other Norene C James; his sister June Gooding of Emerald Isle; his children, Connie M Isley (Mike) of Snow Camp, Susan L Dunbar of Burgaw and Harry Leonard James Jr (Lori) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Jeremy Smart (Jennifer), Joshua Dunbar, Sarah Isley, Harrison James, Savanna Stakely and Dylan James; and his great grandchildren, Maddie and Paxton. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
