He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hemphill (Turple); his siblings, Linda MacCallum of Vermillion, AB, Bruce Hemphill (Anita) of Lyons Brook, NS and Douglas Hemphill of Calgary, AB; his sister-in-law Deanne Hemphill of Dartmouth, NS; his stepmother-in-law Janet Turple of Scotsburn, NS; his siblings-in-law, Vernon Turple Jr. (Darlene) of Pictou, NS, Kevin Turple of Dartmouth, NS, Andrew Turple (Jenna) of Saskatoon, SK, Bonnie Turple-Krummel (Robert) of Snow Camp, NC and Holly Turple (Ryan) of New Glasgow, NS; and his pets, Atticus'Atty' and Miss Maggie Moo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
