David Hancle Vickers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Hancle Vickers of Snow Camp, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Joseph Thomas Vickers and Mary Jane Coble Combs; and his siblings, Barbara Gray, Lester and Norman Vickers.
He is survived by: his wife Edna "Carolyn" Poe Vickers; and his children, Mary Vickers Brown (Jonathan), David Vickers II (Mary Lynn), Frankie Vickers (Rose), Daniel Lee Vickers (Polly Kay) and John Henry Vickers. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
