He was predeceased by: his spouse Linda H. Stanley; and his parents, David Dodson Stanley, Sr. and Minnie Myrtle Page Stanley. He is survived by: his children, James Robert Stanley (Kimberly), Teresa Stanley Wicker (Robert), Gena Stanley Cheek (David) and Hayley Tipton (John). He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five sisters.
