With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol McClain Johnson of Snow Camp, North Carolina, born in Cadiz, Ohio, who passed away on January 27, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. McClain and Mabel Adams McClain. She is survived by: her husband Larry W. Johnson of Snow Camp, NC.; her children, Kris Keeter of Burlington, Kurt Vanscoy (Maureen) of Wilmington and Marc Vanscoy of Knightdale; her stepsons, Barry Johnson (Penny) of Snow Camp and Keith Johnson (Karen) of Graham; her grandchildren, Scott, Scotty, Kyle, Matthew, Taylor, Thomas, Allen, Caleb, Kaitlyn, Kyleen and Shaelyn; and her siblings, Roy McClain (Joyce) of New Orleans, LA, Ruth Lowmiller (Don) of Cleveland, OH and Doris Westphal (Art) of Brick, NJ.. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
