She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Jay and Flora Belle Culberson; her former husband Jerry William Brooks; and her brother Bobby Jay Culberson. She is survived by: her husband Brooks Grocery Store; her children, Jay Brooks (Robyn), Daniel Brooks (Charina), Nora Brooks, Darrell Brooks and Dwayne Brooks (Carol); and her siblings, Lou Gordh (Rudy), Teresa Schrader (Lee), Kenneth Culberson (Patti) and Kermit Culberson. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
