He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Elmer Wertz of Pine Grove; his wife Karen Trumbo Wertz of Snow Camp; his children, Jonathan H. Wertz of Snow Camp, Tara (Jay Sparrow) of Chapel Hill and Stacey (Johanan Ballinger) of Snow Camp; his grandchildren, Alissa Dunn, Levi Sparrow and Ava Wertz; and his siblings, Thomas of Pine Grove, Charles of Pine Grove, Ronald Wertz of Pine Grove, Timothy Wertz of Frystown, Pennsylvania, Jean Abrams, Judy Wertz (Jut) and van.
The family would prefer in lieu of flowers, donations be given to the First Baptist Church of Graham, P.O. Box 779, Graham, NC 27253 in his memory.
