It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell Lewis of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Bryan Lewis, Sr. and Rhoda Lee Cavenaugh Lewis; and his sister Frances Lewis Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Tasha Lewis Barkentin (Scott) and Russell Bryan Lewis, III; his sister Betty Sue Yopp (Graham); and his grandchildren, Kylee, Mason Barkentin, Landon and Noah Lewis. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salem Baptist Church or Jenkins Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, both in Sneads Ferry, NC.
