It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Eggers of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, born in Toledo, Illinois, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Eggers and Eunice Titus Eggers; his wife Myrtle Wetmore Eggers; his daughter Kathryn A. Kennealy; his stepson Henry Crowson; and his sister Mary Tinsman.
He is survived by: his son Steven K. Eggers of Northport, NY; his stepchildren, Ronald Crowson of Raleigh, NC, Anne Beard of Danville, VA, Susan Kelley of Apex, NC, Mary Kathryn Anderson of Colorado and Bonnie Dodson of Bartow, FL; and his siblings, Dolores Schoot of Toledo, IL and Ronald H. Eggers of Merritt Island, FL. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-brothers and step-sisters.
