It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane McDonald Denton of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, born in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Denton and Nora Lee Stephens Denton. He is survived by: his wife Becky Whaley Denton; his children, Caleb D. Denton of Willow Springs, NC and Lauren T. Denton Johnson (Shannon) of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandson Levi J. Johnson; and his siblings, Ralph Durand Denton (Janice) of Weldon, SC and Leigh Denton Sanchez of Garner, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
