He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Owens Roberts; his daughter Gayanne Kimberly Burkes of San Antonio, TX; his stepsons, Kevin Schmidt of San Antonio, TX, Jeremy Roberts (Barbra) of Wilmington and Michael Roberts of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Sydney Burkes, Maya Bryndis Roberts and Owen David Roberts; his sister Sara Pope-Pirelli (Eddie) of Winston-Salem; his sister-in-law Paula Pope of Ivanhoe; and his friend David. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
