He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Frazier Sr. and Maude Gandy; and his siblings, Brooks Gandy and Lucille Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Sybil Sharpe Gandy of Sneads Ferry; his children, Cathy Gandy Medlin (Doug) of Surf City, Jerry Gandy (Virginia) of Garner, Rose of Garner, Gary Gandy (Thelma) of Garner, Thud of Garner, Sneads Ferry of Garner and Steven Gandy (Amy) of Garner; his siblings, Ruth Fore of Alabama, Sue Chan of Alabama, John Gandy of Mississippi and Lamar Gandy of California; and his grandchildren, Chris Medlin, Matt Medlin, Alexis Medlin, Lee Gandy, Aimee Batson, Abbey Hollis, Chris Gandy, Robert Gandy and Jamie Gandy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in C.F.'s name to Dixon Elementary School, Salem Baptist Youth, Lower Cape Fear Hospice or Sneads Ferry H.O.P.E.
