She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Thornton and Alice Thornton; her siblings, Brenda Cole and Tommy Thornton; and her grandson Devin Chase.
She is survived by: her husband Retired Gunny Allan Chase; her children, Billie Jo Chase of Sneads Ferry, NC, Angel Smith of Florida, Allan Chase Jr. of Hampstead and Bruce Chase of Sneads Ferry, NC; her siblings, Cindy Burkhart of Jacksonville and Richard Thornton of Jacksonville, NC.; and her grandchildren, Wesley Chase, Parker Chase, Erin Chase and Allana Chase.
