She was predeceased by: her husband Earnest Lee Rawls; her parents, Earl Elmer and Anna Elmer; her son David Rawls; and her sister Dorothy Elmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Cole (Steven) of Morehead City; her brother David Elmer (Shirley) of Rome, NY; her sisters-in-law, Mildred Nelson (Rodney) of Morehead City and Ann Turner of Morehead City; and her granddaughter Lydia Caravalho (Joshua) of Smyrna. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
