He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kaye Smith and Barbra Knox Boyette. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Rhodes Smith; his children, Johnathon Smith (Jazmin), Samantha Smith of Smithfield and Tabitha Percell of Indiana; his siblings, Chris Smith (Kimberly) of Smithfield and Lori Norris (Wade) of Smithfield; and his grandson Johnathon William Smith.
