It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Norman Griffin Sr. (Smithfield, North Carolina), who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Claude V. Griffin; and his grandson Peyton Griffin (Bubba). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cox Griffin of Selma; his children, Wade Griffin Jr. (Adrine), Scott Griffin, Kimberly Griffin Parrish (Frank) and Shannon Parrish; his grandchildren, Joshua, Isiah, Jeremiah, Justin Griffin (Ashley), Tate Parrish, Scott Griffin Jr. (Griff) and Nicholas Parrish; and his great grandchildren, Bryson, Coltin, Carter and Bella.

Flowers are acceptable as well as donations to Selma Baptist and Smithfield Freewill Baptist Church.
