With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theodore McKay of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Martin and Laural Bell Clark McKay; his son Richard "Rick" McKay; and his sister Jean Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Joan F. McKay; his son Robert T. "Bob" McKay (Jennifer); his grandson Brandon McKay (Alise); his great grandchild Jack; his grandsons, Shaun McKay and Christopher McKay; his daughter Rhonda T. Bennett (Mark); his grandchildren, Mikayla Riley (Zachary), Tristan Bennet (Daisy) and Riley Bennett; his brother Wayne McKay; and also, Peggy Schlabah (Robert) and Cyndi Lord.
