She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Pope and Lanie Ellis Pope; and her husband Ronald Lee "Ron" Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Ron Thomas, Jr. (Frances) of Clayton and Teresa Thomas Parker (Greg) of Smithfield; her siblings, Willard Pope of Princeton, Joyce Honeycutt of Four Oaks and Bonnie Ward of Raleigh; and her grandchildren, Casie Parker Kozlowski, Jessica Thomas Coats (Aaron), Zack Parker (Niki) and Chelsea Parker. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
