He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Crumpler and Mildred Johnson Crumpler; and his brother Mark Johnson Crumpler. He is survived by: his wife Louise Knight Crumpler; his children, Mike Crumpler (Joanna) of Smithfield and Stephanie Crumpler of Smithfield; his brother Cam Crumpler (Kathy) of Hampstead; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Adam, Chris and Dale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
