She was predeceased by: her father William Bryant Wellons, Sr.; and her husband Franklin "Frank" Ogburn Woodley. She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Beckley Vaughan, Jr. (Brittney) of Raleigh and William Wellons Vaughan (Shawn) of Wilmington; her stepchildren, Franklin Ogburn Woodley, Jr. and Nancy Patterson Thomson; her brother William Bryant Wellons, Jr.; her sister-in-law Clara Wellons of Smithfield; her sister Dee Wellons Lee of Four Oaks; and her pet Winston.
