She was predeceased by: her parents, Junius Verney Peterson and Alma Parnell Peterson; her husband Worth Hill; her siblings, Doris Peterson McLamb, Jackie Peterson Minshew, Florine Peterson East and Sherrill Peterson; her daughter Kay Hill Fowler; her grandson Channing Dale Wheeless; and her great grandchild Wyatt James Humpal.
She is survived by: her brother Verney Peterson, Jr. (Lois Peterson); her sister-in-law Sherry Creech Peterson; her children, Ronnie Dale Wheeless (Christi Cook Wheeless), Michael Wheeless (Rena' Wheeless), Beth Hill Parker (Tim Parker), Gay Wheeless Worrell (Jimmy Worrell) and Amy Hill Shea (Mark Shea); and her son-in-law Pete Fowler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sander's Chapel United Methodist Church (4484 Brogden Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577). A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
