She was predeceased by: her parents, George Blackwell Murphy and Jane Virginia Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Richard Edward Mullinax of Smithfield, NC; and her children, Dorothy Blackwell Mullinax (Tyler Klotz) of Knightdale, NC and Christopher Chapman Mullinax (Katherine) of Hyattsville, MD.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh (3313 Wade Ave, Raleigh, NC 27607).
