It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph McCoy Hill of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard E. Hill and Edith B. Hill; and his siblings, John Thomas Hill, Robert E. Hill, Richard Charles Hill, Harvey Gene Hill, Leon Elwood Hill, Olive Inez Creech and Mary Elizabeth Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hill; his children, Ralph McCoy Hill Jr. (Callie) of Mebane and Rhonda Hill Weaver (Jefferson) of Hallsboro; his brother Wade Dixon Hill (Jean) of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Emery Hill and Cara Hill; and his niece Kimberlee Ann Hill. He is also survived by his family and friends.
