She was predeceased by: her parent Lonnie Eldridge; her husband James Henry Ellis; and her son Michael Allen Ellis, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Ellis (Emily) and Jimmy Ellis (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Eddie Ellis, Jr. (Kimberly), Chris Ellis (Connie), Jamilynne Stewart (Wes), Rebecca Taylor, Amy Graham (Rob), Stephanie Ellis and Michael Allen Ellis, Jr.; and her stepgrandchildren, Trey Ellis and Libby Erwin. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Neuse Memory Gardens (903 S Brightleaf Blvd, Smithfield, NC 27577).
