She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Sanders, Sr. and Helen Foye Sanders; and her husband James Williams. She is survived by: her children, Emma Sanders Watson, Ronald Sanders (Mary), Donald Sanders and Deborah Sanders. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Walter Sanders Funeral & Cremations Service Chapel (302 S Brightleaf Blvd, Smithfield, NC 27577). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Johnston Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church (1691 Barber Mill Rd, Clayton, NC 27520).
