She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Tyndall, Jr. and Jessie Jones Tyndall; her husband Wiley Franklin Shallington, Jr.; her son Franklin Elwood; her siblings, Frankie, Thomas Tyndall, Louise Moore and Linda White; and her granddaughter Cordelia Shallington.
She is survived by: her children, David Shallington (Cassandra) of New York, Matthew Shallington (Melissa) of Louisiana, Mary Sue McCorkle of Smithfield and Cynthia Champion (Vince) of Connelly Springs; her grandchildren, Cyrus, Zander McCorkle, Matthew Jr., Mark, Robert Shallington, David Shallington, Jr., Joseph Champion, Stormie Galens, Angelica White and Kirsten Shallington; and her siblings, Rose Blackwell (Bobby Sr.), Donald Ray Tyndall (Karen) and Billy Ray Tyndall (Patty). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
