She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lory Harris, Jr. and Mary Ellen McDougald of Wilson, NC.; and her husband Phil Edwards. She is survived by: her brother John Lory Harris III (Cathy) of Charlotte; her stepdaughter Jessi Edwards of Greenville; her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Edwards of Princeton, Rosemary Edwards Gatewood (Doug) of Four Oaks, Sara Moore (Steve) of Goldsboro, Bruce Edwards (Rene) of Stella and Steve Edwards (LuNelle) of Princeton; her nephews, John Lory Harris IV (Kristine) of Gibsonville, Jonathan Gatewood (Jamie) of Charlotte and Patrick Gatewood (Lindsey) of Raleigh; and her pets, Leroy, Tuffy and Maxie. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
