It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Holden Parker (Smithfield, North Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Henry Holden; and her siblings, Claude Holding, Helon Cooke, Clara Cooke, Gracie Beck, Myrtle Castleberry and Robert "Buck" Holden.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Eli Parker; her daughters, Lisa Parker Presson (Jim) and Lane Parker Raskauskas (Paul); her grandchildren, Lauren Holden Valenti (Daniel), Leigh Ann Hatch (Andrew), William Austin Presson, Jane Parker Corchiani (Christopher) and Jonathan Peter Raskauskas; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Dale Hatch, Luke Andrew Hatch and Bryce Christopher Corchiani; and her siblings, Ruby Lee Pearce and Harold Raines Holden. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
