She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ward and Essie Eatmon Ward; and her siblings, Lula Ward Forte, Roxie Ward Rayner and Willie Lee Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Ward, Rodney Ward and Felicia Dent (Kelvin); her grandchildren, Rishawn Pearce, Jamal Morgan, Kelvin Dents and Zyra Dents; and her children, Jerry Lewis (Musheerah) and Karen Robertson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
