It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Lee Woodall of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Stanley and Pauline Stanley; and her siblings, Elbert Stanley, Hazel Overbee, Rena Allen and Jean Byrd.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Wayne Woodall; her sons, Chris Woodall (Marcia) of Smithfield and Brian Woodall (Michelle) of Smithfield; her siblings, Will Stanley of Dunn, Hilda Lawrence of Four Oaks and Alice Bailey of Selma; her grandchildren, Emma Lorren (Jake), Gabe Woodall, Conner Woodall, Caleb Woodall and Cayden Woodall; and her goddaughter April Mendenhall (Joe) of Big Rapids, MI. She is also survived by her siblings each week, as well as her kids and grandkids.
