With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Langley Perez of Smithfield, North Carolina, born in Wilson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeno Langley and Madie Langley; her siblings, Frank Langley, Ernest Langley, Richard Langley, Junior Langley, Gladys Langley, Nancy Liles and Emma Mae Holley; and her son-in-law Ricky Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Alex Perez; her daughter Kay Thompson; and her grandson Ricky S. Thompson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
