He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Thomas "Tom" Lane and Grace Erwin Lane; his brother Andrew "Andy" Thomas Lane; and his pet Lucy. He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Lane Justice of Franklin and Phillip Lane (Lori) of Franklin; his nieces and nephews, Trevor Justice (Skyler) of Otto, NC, Dylon Tucker of Panama City, FL, Laney Grace Justice of Franklin, NC and Lacey Karpisek (Adam) of Tampa, FL; his great-nieces, Elissa Lane Karpisek and Emma Grace Justice; and his aunts, Peggy Erwin of Canton, NC and Bernice "Bing" Lane of Asheville, NC. He is also survived by numerous other cousins and close friends.
