It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inez Wilson Creech of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Wilson and Ruby Wilson; and her spouse Worley Arlon "Preacher" Creech. She is survived by: her brothers, Donald Wilson of Smithfield and Charles Wilson of Smithfield; her daughters, Hope C. Long (Bill) of Raleigh and Linda C. Blackmon (Ricky) of Selma; her siblings, Eugene "Skint" Wilson of Kenly, Earl Wilson of Pine Level and Gladys W. Edwards of Selma; her grandchildren, Alicia Ellington (Dave), Lindsay Dayton (Scott), Nicole Page (Brian), David Long (Amy) and Mary Vintinner; her great grandchildren, Jake, Lyda, Ellee, Collins Appie, William, Rowan, Justin and Blake; and her great great grandchildren, Jake and Evelyn. She is also survived by her family, friends, and "children".
