She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hobbs and Annie Hobbs. She is survived by: her husband Horace George; her daughters, Rochelle George, Sheila Kornegay and Phyllis Price; and her grandchildren, David Price, Jr., Antoin Kornegay, Chris Price, Mariah Kornegay, Brianna Kornegay and Brandon Price. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Parrish Funeral Home (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576).
