She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Pilkington and Kathleen Edwards Pilkington; her husband Robert Lee Stafford Sr.; and her sister Janice Petit. She is survived by: her children, Robert Stafford Jr. (Wendy) of Clayton, Susan Anderson (Terry) of Four Oaks and Cherry Peele (Alvin) of Morehead City. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
