He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas and Ruby Marie Moore Rhodes. He is survived by: his siblings, Anna Rhodes Cuddington and Jimmy R. Rhodes; and his niece Amy Cuddington Mitchell. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.

As Donnie loved flowers, any sent will be appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the Johnston County Animal Services, 15 Shelter Way, Smithfield, NC 27577.
