He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Reeder and Josephine Reeder. He is survived by: his son Scott David Reeder (Jennifer) of Smithfield; his siblings, Bonnie R. Cox (Norman) of Rosewood and George M. Reeder of Smithfield; and his granddaughter Darby S. Reeder of Smithfield.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Crosspoint Community Church at 4967 US 70 Business, W, Clayton, NC 27520.
