With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Edward Lamm (Smithfield, North Carolina), born in Spring Hope, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2024 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his mother Emma Wilder Lamm; and his wife Marjorie. He is survived by: his father Moses Lamm; his children, Travis Lamm (Barbara), Lynda Carroll (Mike) and Mickey Lamm (Anita); his grandchildren, Mary Beth Thompson (Jeremy), Emily Johnson (Parker), Christian Lamm, Hannah Carroll, Adam Carroll, Andrew Carroll (Chasity) and Grace Ann Hurst (David); and his stepgranddaughter Robyn Strickland (Chad). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and several special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
