He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Wheat and Lillian Craig Wheat; and his grandparents, Lemmie, Lucinda Wheat, Pinkey and Robert Craig, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Meegie Louise Wheat; his brothers, Kenneth Labarron Wheat and Karl Maurice Wheat (Lisa); his daughters, Candace Wesley, Larissa Adams, Jervonda Turner (Mark) and Sherika Robbins (Taurus); and his grandchildren, Jordan Leon Wheat, Christian Liam Wesley, Landon Otis Adams, Stephen Harrison James, Cameron McClelland Shawver, Khari Agyei Ashanti Rockward (Megan) and Sariah Elon Lele Robbins. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
