She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Whitfield and Rose Gordon Sugg; her husband Ted Neal (Bo); and her children, Neal Welch and Alice Narron.
She is survived by: her sons, Carl W. Welch (Ruth) of Wendell, NC and Gordon W. Welch of Wilmington, Delaware.; her grandchildren, Maura Welch Stewart (Brad), Vance Welch and Wiley Narron; and her great grandchildren, James, Cameron Stewart and Phoenix Welch. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
